One of my roommates and I took a taxi just 45 minutes outside of Lusaka to visit the Lilayi Elephant Orphanage Project. These orphaned baby elephants are rescued from the wild, treated for injury or illness, and raised to eventually be re-introduced into the wild. Watching the interactions and obvious trust between the caretakers and the orphans was one of the most heart-warming things you can imagine.
